The movie is interestingly having everything starting from romance, action and comedy. It starts with two kites in the sky soaring high, but when it says one has to be left in the sky, you can easily judge what the story will be.

As it proceeds further, entry of Hritik Roshan and starts the flashback of story – 3 months earlier, where Hritik or the character named “J” (as most of the Indo Americans make their names short) is always finding ways to earn easy money whether by selling pirated DVDs or helping girls to have fake marriages for the heck of Green Card. It seems odd though that on one hand it showed that J is making easy money and other hand he is teaching dance classes which seemed to be a scene copied from movie of JLo (Last Dance). Though Hritik is looking dashing if you see from eyes of girls, riding a Harley, with his Ray Ban sunglasses, long hair, and French-cut beard. There comes the entry of Kangana, who fells in love with J while learning dance, and goes to meet him on valentine’s day and gets into his house with a duplicate key. But I must agree that Kangana is looking more hotter than Barbara, who later turns out to be fiancée of her brother (Tony).

You will be surprised to see that many of the scenes will look similar to Hollywood movies like Last Dance, Step Up 2, Oceans Thirteen and many more.

The movie tries to turn out again and again when it shows that Barbara (Linda) was the same girl whom J helped in getting Green Card after fake marriage and fells in love again with her which proves to be a costly affair as her fiancée is a rich and powerful guy who will never leave the cheats and will kill both of them. Though J gets 2 chances of killing this man, but god or director knows what the hell dish they were trying to prepare. It simply seems too many hands spoil the dish which is true for Kites. By the time things happen you can easily guess what the next scene will be.

The director tried hard to maintain suspense, at the end, but by the time you realize, the Barbara is dead and Hritik jumps of the same mountain to end.

I don’t think Indian audience will like the movie as, hardly 50% turn out for Hollywood movies or if we say for movies in English and this movie seems to be meant for people who can understand Spanish as well.

For me, Kites did not soar high and came to earth in just 2 hours. So, if you are planning to go for movie, my suggestion would be learn some Spanish before watching this movie.

I am going with 2 of 5 star for Kites!

Housefull, a movie by Sazid Khan, is a story of a man named Arush (Akshay Kumar) who gets caught in crazy situations, just because he has a dark secret that he has three wives. Lucky chap!

His first wife Sandy (Deepika Padukone) has always wanted to be in love, but thinks it only happens in fairy tales.

His second wife Heetal (Lara Dutta) loves her husband so much that she feels as if she is living a fairy tale, and Devika (Jiah Khan) his third wife is a simple old fashioned small town girl. Though Jiah Khan, a sex bomb has debuted in the controversial role like Nishabd where she acted opposite Amitabh Bachchan. Though Khan was noted for her confidence, attitude, and sex appeal. It’s interesting how she acts in a simpe, and old fashioned small town girl.

In the movie, nobody knows about Arush’s secret, except Bob (Riteish Deshmukh), Arush’s best friend ever, they declare themselfs as brothers, but Arush and Bob are in big trouble because all of Arushs wives as they all say that they wanna move in with Arush, so they both live in one house. So here the big problem arises, i.e how Arush can live with all of his three wives in on place, without being getting the secret out, but Arush and Bob have to make sure that any of the girls find out the truth about Arush which is a quite impossible task for Arush because they all live in the same house. However, Sandy finds out and tells everything to her big brother Krishna (Arjun Rampal), and then Krishna goes to Arush and finishes his whole game.

It’s interesting to see, how, but the movie seems to be somewhat comedy like Akshay’s earlier movies like Hey Babby. Though if you think you liked Hey Babby, you gonna like Housefull as well! So, go watch and share your reviews about the movie.

The movie starts with a very interesting scene of Farhan i.e Madhavan getting some kind of stroke, when a flight is taking off, and he gets up suddenly and starts running off the wheelchair saying “I am Fine”, seems odd in first instance. Soon he boards a cab which is not waiting for him and instead was for Joginder dhillon, amazing and despite being repeatedly asked by the driver “sahab aap hotel jayenge”, he moved the cab to pick up his another idiot friend Raju i.e Sharman Joshi and reaches the campus of ICE (Imperial College of Engineering), where this babu moshai (a Bengali character in the film named Chatur) comes in forces them to remember the date “Sept 5”, don’t know the year, which he says was written 10 yrs ago on that wall by him during a bet which he had with them that he will be most successful man out of the college.

So the question arises where the third idiot against whom the bet was raised is and so the search begins for third idiot- Rancho played by Aamir Khan. So the two friends along-with chatur embark on a quest for a lost buddy or a lost idiot. As they make their way through the beautiful landscape, another journey begins: their inner journey through memory lane and the story of their friend- the irrepressible free-thinker Rancho (Aamir Khan), who in his unique way, touched and changed their lives and helped them become what they wanted to be in their lives to be happy. The whole story revolves around the hostel days of their lives during which the idiot Rancho falls in love with Pia i.e Kareena Kapoor, which he first meet on a wedding of her sister, daughter of Boman Irani (VIRUS i.e Viru Sahastrabudhhe). The scenes like Boman Irani coming on a bi-cycle carrying a nest and showing the students an astronauts pen on which aamir raises a question that why can’t astronauts used pencil in space and why they spent lakhs of dollars on inventing a pen, which he gets an answer to in the second half of the movie).

Though the movie is different as it appears to be from one of the ragging days which we used to have in our colleges few years back, but I perceived that some scenes like the first ragging scene in hostel seemed to be somewhat similar to what we have seen in “Muna bhai MBBS”, but the way they have presented is of course very different and the dialogues and the picturisation of the ragging is very different and is similar to what I have heard or seen and specially the scene where a stamp “Checked OK” is marked on to each person’s butt , and where each boy ragged says “Jahanpana salam thoktan hoon” turns around and hits his butt and says “tohfa Kabul kijye” which is very embarrassing for girls, or do they like it, hmmm right question to be asked to girls!!

Aamir khan’s 3 idiots

It remembers me of my B’day when the shooting of the scenes which were shot in C.P inner circle in front of Lee and Park Avenue showrooms, when I saw them shooting the one thing that came to my mind looking at the mass of people around the shooting place what these idiots are doing as it was already 11:30 PM and people were gathered like bees at the shooting. But now it felt really good after seeing those shots in which Kareena is about to start her scooty with helmet in her hand and Kareena says shut up Aamir says she said shut up, I thought she said Thank You.

The songs in the movie like “Giveme some sunshine, All Izz Well and Zoobi Doobi”are really good with amazing view captured from Ladakh.

But the movie is really awesome with right kinds of scenes put in right place. Three Idiots is comedy of ideas that is a provocative as it is funny, as wildly entertaining as it is insightful. A laugh-riot that talks about the most important of human pursuits: self-actualization. It encourages people to do what they like to do the most and excel in life by working towards excellence and not running behind success. As success will follow you once you achieve excellence. The movie seems to be a hit for 2009 and encourages us to take a step forward and change our thinking and thinking of our parents and even the education system in our country where every year so many students commit suicide due to pressure on them to become engineers or doctors. We have to understand it should be by choice of a student and not by mere pressure of parents or teachers. Today we have so much of pressure on students right from the student goes into school to be on top position, which everyone can’t take it and commit suicide and we should think about it and should encourage people not to force their children and encourage them to be what they want to be in their life so that they can excel in life and not just be successful.

Yesterday I saw the new SX4 which was launched in Delhi two days back. Though there not much of change on outside, except the new honeycomb front grill and new set of alloys and a new rear spoiler. Frankly, I did not like the new front grill as it seems to be similar to what we see in Ford Ikon. Think the older version was better, and that also goes with alloy wheels. The new 10 spoke alloys make the looks of tyres a bit small and narrow. The older 5 spoke looked great and the tyres looked somewhat bigger with broad alloys. Otherwise the looks remain the same as previous version. The major difference is in the heart of the new model which has a new VVT engine (Variable Valve Timing) technology, which is Bharat Satge IV complaint and is more responsive than the older one, and can give better performance with optimum combination of refined power for thrilling speed better torque resulting in less gear shifts and an improved fuel efficiency. In the Interior, we have a new USB port for charging your iPod and playing music with USB drive.

The new SX4 is available in 7 colors – Azure Grey, Pearl Artic White, Oyster Blue, Midnight Black, Clear Beige, Silky silver, and French Éclair. My favorites are Pearl White Artic , Silky silver and Midnight Black

Though the one I saw was an Automatic (AT) which was SX4 ZXi AT. Though I got pretty impressed by the AT version of SX4.

Software giant Microsoft will formally launch its much touted operating system (OS) — Windows 7 — in India today. The company is on a good wicket in the country, say analysts, with a nearly 90 per cent market share comprising XP (primarily) and Vista users. This leaves only a small window for other OSes like Apple’s Snow Leopard or open source Linux OS variants.

New Features in Win7: The Windows Taskbar has seen its most significant revision since its introduction in Windows 95. The taskbar is 10 pixels taller than in Windows Vista to accommodate touch screen input and a new larger default icon size, though a smaller taskbar size is available. Running applications are denoted by a border frame around the icon, while applications can be pinned to the taskbar, so that shortcuts to them appear when they are not running. Within this border, a color effect (dependent on the predominant RGB value of the icon) that follows the mouse also indicates the opened status of the application. The glass taskbar is also more transparent. Taskbar buttons show icons by default, not application titles, unless they are set to not combine. Only icons are shown when the application is not running. Some other features are:

Pinned applications The Quick Launch toolbar has been removed. The Windows 7 taskbar is more application-oriented than window-oriented, and therefore doesn’t show window titles (these are instead shown when an icon is clicked if there are multiple windows, or hovered over). Applications can now be pinned to the taskbar allowing the user instant access to the applications they commonly use. There are a few ways to pin applications to the taskbar. One can drag and drop the icon onto the taskbar. The other way to do so is by right-clicking the application’s icon and pinning the icon to the taskbar.

Jump list These are menu options available from right-clicking any of the icons on the taskbar or by holding the left mouse button and sliding up on an icon. Each application will have unique jump lists which will correspond to the features unique to the application whether it be recent files opened or common tasks. For example, a Microsoft Word jump list might display all the recent documents opened. The Windows Media Player jump list, for example, displays recently played tracks and playlists that have been played. Internet Explorer’s jump list displays recent history of websites and the ability to open a new tab or start InPrivate Browsing. Windows Live Messenger’s jump list displays select common tasks such as instant messaging, signing off, and changing online status. While up to 10 menu items may appear on a jump list by default, Windows 7 provides the ability to customize this.

Notification area The notification area has been redesigned; the standard Volume, Network, Power and Action Center status icons are present, but no other application icons are shown unless the user has chosen for them to be shown. A new “Notification Area Icons” control panel has been added which replaces the “Customize Notification Icons” dialog box in the “Taskbar and Start Menu Properties” window first introduced in Windows XP. In addition to being able to configure whether the application icons are shown, the ability to hide each application’s notification balloons has been added. The user can then view the notifications at a later time. A triangle to the left of the visible notification icons displays the hidden notification icons to the user. Unlike Windows Vista and Windows XP, the hidden icons are displayed in a window above the taskbar, instead of on the taskbar. Icons can be dragged between this window and the notification area.

Aero Peek In past versions of Windows, the taskbar ended with the notification area on the right side. However, there is now the Aero Peek button, which, when clicked or hovered over with the mouse, displays the desktop and gadgets by turning all windows transparent. This replaces the Show Desktop shortcut in the Quick Launch bar in previous versions of Windows. Aero Peek exhibits the same features used by the thumbnail previews, except it applies them to the desktop. If the mouse hovers over it, all windows are transparent, as shown in the picture. If the button is clicked, all applications are minimized, and when clicked again, they are restored.

Devices There are two major new user interface components for device management in Windows 7, “Devices and Printers” and “Device Stage”. Both of these are integrated with Windows Explorer, and together provide a simplified view of what devices are connected to the computer, and what capabilities they support.

Devices and Printers The new Devices and Printers Control Panel. Devices and Printers is a new Control Panel interface that is directly accessible from the Start menu. Unlike the Device Manager Control Panel applet, which is still present, the icons shown on the Devices and Printers screen is limited to components of the system that a non-expert user will recognize as plug-in devices. For example, an external monitor connected to the system will be displayed as a device, but the internal monitor on a laptop will not. Device-specific features are available through the context menu for each device; an external monitor’s context menu, for example, provides a link to the “Display Settings” control panel.

This new Control Panel applet also replaces the “Printers” window in prior versions of Windows; common printer operations such as setting the default printer, installing or removing printers, and configuring properties such as paper size are done through this control panel.

Device Stage A Device Stage window showing available options for a Sansa e250 portable music player. Device Stage provides a centralized location for an externally-connected multi-function device to present its functionality to the user. When a device such as a portable music player is connected to the system, the device appears as an icon on the task bar, as well as in Windows Explorer.

Windows 7 ships with high-resolution images of a number of popular devices, and is capable of connecting to the Internet to download images of devices it doesn’t recognize. Opening the icon presents a window that displays actions relevant to that device. Screenshots of the technology presented by Microsoft suggest that a mobile phone could offer options for two-way synchronization, configuring ring-tones, copying pictures and videos, managing the device in Windows Media Player, and using Windows Explorer to navigate through the device. Other device status information such as free memory and battery life can also be shown. The actual per-device functionality is defined via XML files that are downloaded when the device is first connected to the computer, or are provided by the manufacturer on an installation disc.

However, if you are not planning to switch over to Windows 7 in a hurry, you may want to consider these options.

Snow Leopard Comparisons are odious since competing OSes, like Snow Leopard from Apple are meant for separate sets of users. Apple’s OS is better defined as a performance update with some feature tweaks, while Win 7 is a new operating system from Microsoft. Windows 7 will work on your existing PC hardware, if you are using an at least 1 GHz CPU (processor) and 1 GB of RAM (memory), but a faster processor and more RAM will definitely improve the performance. By contrast, Snow Leopard will only work on Intel-based Mac systems. That means that not only will Snow Leopard not work on the hardware vastly used, but it won’t even work on much of the hardware used by current Mac OS X users. The most noticeable feature of Snow Leopard that enterprise users can look out for is that Apple has built a native support for Microsoft’s Exchange Server into its OS, a feat that no version of Windows has accomplished. This will enable Macs to work seamlessly in businesses run on Windows without requiring additional third party software licensing or relying on Microsoft’s Mac clients. Apple also has no intention to change the OS to something new in the future, so Mac users can breathe easy on their financial investments. The Snow Leopard single user license will be available for a maximum retail price of Rs 1,800 and the Snow Leopard Family Pack, a single household, five-user license, will be available for a maximum retail price of Rs 2,900. Win 7 (single user license) is expected to start at little over Rs 5,000.

Ubuntu (a Linux variant) For all those who are not Windows enthusiasts, there’s another choice of OS that will cost half of your PC. Since Ubuntu 9.10 is still in the early stages of development and is an open source product, a lot of changes can happen as features may still be added or removed by developers.

On the ease of use, we would say that Ubuntu and Win 7 came neck and neck. Ubuntu is more configurable, but an average user won’t require this level of flexibility. On the other hand, Win 7 comes with all the familiar looking tools. If you are a person to stay with the default configurations, then Win 7 is better suited than Ubuntu, but if you’re ready to do some tweaking then Ubuntu is great.

Remember, Win 7 is an OS that has a few end-user applications like Notepad and Paint but it still cannot be fully functional after installation — you need to install your productivity tools yourself like mail, word processor, spreadsheets, etc. While Ubuntu installs a lot more than just end-user applications.

Open source players are pushing hard to strengthen Ubuntu on mobile Internet devices (MIDs), netbooks, notebooks, servers and cloud systems, and with no software costs involved in Ubuntu’s purchase expect a fee that users pay for services like technical support, the hardware becomes more cost efficient.

In my suggestion, it’s always better to wait for newer version of windows till the time all the bugs gets fixed up. As we have always seen every time there is a new version of Windows, there are many bugs associated to it. Like we had Windows Vista, there had been quite a lot of problems which users faced in the beginning. So, personally, I am staying a bit away from it for now, though it looks attractive, but you never know! Let’s see how it works in future, and how lite it is, as Windows claims.

Recently, I had a short trip to Amritsar – Golden Temple and Wagha Border. The drive was not pretty smooth with the new highway coming up by NHAI and a lot of work going on at many stretches on NH1. Though it took 9 hrs to reach to Amritsar and approx. Rs. 500 of toll taxes. The best part was it was a long weekend and there were many people who were travelling along with us in highway, eager to reach Amritsar, and the speed limit on NH1 was @ 90KMPH, which people don’t see in Delhi, as in Delhi it’s not more than 60 KMPH and you can easily get stuck in ling jams even on highways.

I managed to dive for 9 hrs and the last 1 hr journey was really worrisome for me as I was worried that the gate closing ceremony, which is held daily at Wagha Border (India-Pakistan border) is scheduled at 4 PM. So I rang up one of my friends who had been there earlier, and he told me that it usually starts at 4 or 4:30, so I was afraid I ‘ll be late for the ceremony, as I was 60 KM far from the border. So, I started pushing the pedal hard and pushed my car to the maximum I could. Finally, I reached near to the border, and it was 5 PM, and there I see a traffic jam. But I think I was getting lucky, behind my car there comes a gypsy with siren blowing and wooing the traffic away. As, I was moving ahead, there came a Commando in front of my car and forced me to stop, so that the VIP could move easily ahead of me, and so I decided to follow his last car, and I managed to get off the traffic jam, but few meters ahead the security guys recognized that my car was not in the VIP convoy, and they stopped me entering the security zone, so I finally made a u-turn and get into the parking zone.

I was happy I got lucky and could manage to reach there quickly, and took my digicam out to get rolling.

As, I moved near the ceremony area, I was surprised to see a lot of people. There was hardly any space to stand and see the ceremony. People shouting slogans “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Hindustan jindabad”. So, finally I somehow managed to get to the point where I could take some pics of Jawans, Indian and pakistan’s gates and the Indian flag.

I think I was lucky this time as the ceremony started a bit late that day due to heavy rush and VIP’s coming in, and due to a public Holiday i.e October 2 (Mahatma Gandhi’s B’day). Finally the ceremony started, and people started to shout the slogans loud, loud and louder than the pakistanis to make their presence felt. I could see less people sitting on other of the border. It was people’s difference across Border, otherwise the air, the grass and the environment looked the same, only the people were different.

Finally, after half an hour, the ceremony came to an end, and it was a bit relaxing, as I could manage to go closer to the Indo-Pakistan gates and could manage to take pics of gates and jawans. But it seemed the mad people were not ready to leave the place, so jawans started pushing the rush slowly to take them out of the last gate. It was getting late, so I decided to leave the place and move forward to my new journey to Golden Temple, a sacred place for Sikhs. Also known as Gurudwara Harmandir Sahib.

The temple (gurudwara) is many years old, and it’s construction started in December 1585 CE and completed in August 1604 CE. The architect was Guru Arjan Dev Ji.

The Harmandir Sahib is considered holy and beautiful by Sikhs because the eternal Guru of Sikhism, the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, is present inside in it. It is moved to the Sri Akal Takhat Sahib at around 10 PM and then moved back from there to Sri Harmandir Sahib at 5 AM. Its construction was mainly intended as a place of worship for men and women from all walks of life and all religions to come and worship God equally. The Sri Guru Granth Sahib is the holiest literature in the Sikh religion, the tenth Guru of Sikhs, Sri Guru Gobind Singh on 7 October 1708 made it the eternal Sikh Guru and the leader of Sikhism. Anywhere in the world where the Guru Granth Sahib is present is equally holy and precious to Sikhs. Harmandir Sahib was built with four doors to show that every religion or faith is allowed to go in to meditate or just listen to the prayers for peace.

The temple is surrounded by a large Sarovar (manmade lake), known as the AmritSar (Lake of Holy Water or Immortal Nectar). There are entrances to the temple on all four sides, signifying the importance of acceptance and openness; ostensibly, this concept is reminiscent of the tent of Abraham in the Old Testament—his tent was open on all four sides in order to be able to welcome travelers from all directions. Inside the temple complex there are many shrines to past Sikh Gurus, Saints and martyrs. There are three holy trees (Bers) each associated with a historical event or Sikh saint. Inside the temple there are many memorial plaques that commemorate past Sikh historical events, saints, martyrs and includes commemorative inscriptions of all the Sikh soldiers who died fighting in the two World Wars. For a new visitor the first recommended place to visit is the information Office highlighted on the map and followed by visiting the Sikh Central museum near the main entrance called the Ghanta Ghar Deori (clock tower gate). Anyone who wants to enter the Harmandir Sahib may do so, irrespective of religion, colour, creed or sex. The only restrictions are that the person must not drink alcohol, eat meat or smoke cigarettes or use other non prescription drugs while in the shrine. Visitors are, as well, expected to dress appropriately and everyone must cover their heads as a sign of respect, remove their shoes and socks and enter the temple barefooted. Visitors must wash their feet in the small pool of water as they enter the Harmandir Sahib premises. Head scarves are provided.

One can pray and can make ardas (prayer) for himself or for his/her family, for well wishes and to get blessing from god. The prasad is given to all who visit the gurudwara, and is made with desi ghee, which is very tasty and everyone likes it. After the prayers, one can have langar (a feast) which s prepared by many pilgrims. For langar there is a big langar hall which is two storied and can manage thousands of pilgrims at a single point of time, and the langar continues for 24 hrs. There is food for everyone with blessings of god.

I managed to see the place where food is prepared, and came to know that there are three machines installed which are used to make dough and finally chapatis for serving langar. The machine make 4,000, 60,00 and 10,000 chapatis resp. in an hour, and when huge crowd of pilgrims come for prayers, they start all the three machines along-with people making chapatis manually. There are separate places for making tea, chapatis, dal and subji, for thousands of people. As, I said there’s food for everyone, for every age group, for every individual without the discretion of sex, religion, caste and color, who comes to the sacred place.

Near the Gurudwara, there is a place known as Jallianwala Bagh, where the massacre took place. The Jallianwala Bagh Massacre (Hindi: जलियांवाला बाग़ हत्याकांड جلیانوالہ باغ Jallianwala Bāġa Hatyākāṇḍ), alternatively known as the Amritsar Massacre, was named after the Jallianwala Bagh (Garden) in the northern Indian city of Amritsar where, on April 13, 1919, 90 British Indian Army soldiers under the command of Brigadier-General Reginald Dyer opened fire on an unarmed gathering of men, women and children. The firing lasted for 10 to 15 minutes, until they ran out of ammunition. Official British Raj sources placed the fatalities at 379, and with 1100 wounded. Civil Surgeon Dr. Smith indicated that there were 1,526 casualties.

Our memory is the source of all emotions. It is also the source of our guilt. What if a killer wakes up one day with his memory erased? Would his crime cease to exist? What if an innocent guy wakes up one day with his memory wiped out and perceives himself to be a criminal? Would that perception change his reality?

‘Acid Factory’ is about a group of characters whose sense of past has vanished in a haze. They have woken up from a coma like sleep only to discover that reality might just be a figment of their imagination.

Their sense of right and wrong is heightened by their state of complete distrust and sense of self righteousness.

As the story clears the mist of confusion, confounded by loss of memory, the audience is just shown the tip of the iceberg. And then the Games begin as the characters start to create stories just so they can stay in the right path. But what if a roomful of people realize the majority is evil.

Wouldn’t your survival instinct make you renounce your evil self so that you can survive? Acid Factory’ plays out as a thriller, a morality play on the inside and a cat and mouse chase on the outside. This purports to be a mother of a thriller which will have you on the edge of your seat and, most probably, rooting for the wrong guy.

“Wake Up Sid!” Is the story of Sidharth Mehra (Ranbir Kapoor), a lazy, unmotivated slacker from Mumbai whose life undergoes a series of changes after taking his final year college exams.

Sid’s world is breezy, carefree, and without any true responsibilities. The most important elements in his life are his friends, his camera, his car, and his X-box 360. Sid thrives around his two best friends, Rishi (Namit Das) and Laxmi (Shikha Talsania), very rarely communicates with his mother Sarita (Supriya Pathak) and takes his father Ram Mehra (Anupam Kher), and all his hard earned wealth for granted. Despite all these traits, Sid is an honest boy; sweet, funny, and above all, a good friend. Aisha Bannerjee (Konkona Sen Sharma), an aspiring writer from Calcutta, learns this soon enough when her path crosses with Sid’s on her first day in Bombay. Ambitious, well-read, and driven, Aisha has come to Bombay to realize her dreams as a writer.

Despite their contrasting personalities, Sid becomes Aisha’s first friend in the city. As Aisha sets up her life in Bombay, with the help of Sid and his gang, Sid allows for time to fly by over long drives, parties that stretch well into dawn, and endless hours doing absolutely nothing. But summers vary rarely dull these days and Sid’s summer is no different. A series of circumstances and events compel him to take stock of his life and take a hard look at himself. Will he, at some point figure out what he’s supposed to be doing with his life? Wake up Sid!

The title song in the movie has been liked by youngsters, due to it’s wonderful music, and the title as it says Wake Up!

So, it’s time to wake up and go watch the movie with your friends, as it’s premiering starts October 1st,2009 at Satyam cinplexes and pvr cinemas.

According to news, the company stopped its production of the car’s current model to change the engine configuration which would be in compliant with the Bharat Stage-IV norms. April 2011 onwards, 11 cities in India are to upgrade to the Bharat Stage-IV emission norms. Maruti Suzuki’s SX4 is currently in compliant with only Bharat Stage-III norms.

The auto major will re-launch SX4 model in 6-8 weeks. The new Maruti SX4 model will come with BS4 engine, and a change in design. However, it seems like Maruti is planning to do a makeover of SX4 with a very little cosmetic change with a tuning of its engine to match the BS-IV norms. The present rumors of much awaited change in the heart of SX4 from petrol to a diesel engine cannot be taken true at this point of time, as the diesel engine will only be built in collaboration with Fiat, and Fiat will not be thinking to hit it’s market of Linea just to have it’s competitor a new heart with diesel.

However, the company may also think to launch SX4 in its hatchback segment, which the company recently showcased in Frankfurt Motor Show, with which the company can manage to capture a new segment. But for hatchback SX4, the competitors like Skoda Fabia will be tough to defeat.

So, I think, will be better for Maruti to do some cosmetic changes in its current variant of SX4 and try to bring diesel variant of SX4 as soon as possible by the beginning or mid 2010.

India is fast emerging as a growing vehicle market. Both the car manufacturers and Indians are not leaving any opportunity to have the best. On one hand car manufacturers are wooing mass segment of the population both in the age group of 20-40 years, and do not wish to leave any segment empty, and on other hand people are really crazy for new technology with new update in various segments. The manufacturers have now started capturing every segment competing with each other and registering a growth year on year by selling numbers.

In competition various companies are launching their new models in the Indian market. Like, Earlier this month Ford had launched a new stylish Endeavour starting at Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and today (september 24, 2009) it had announced that Ford Motor will roll out the four-door Figo in the first quarter of 2010 and is investing $500 million to double the capacity of its factory in Chennai to 200,000 units.

Also, German luxury car manufacturer on Wednesday launched the next generation E-Class sedan in India priced at Rs 46.98 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new E-Class comes with a 3.5 litre V-6 petrol engine, which will be locally assembled at Mercedes’ Pune plant. The diesel variant will be launched after a few months. Mercedes expects the new model to give a major push to sales growth as it finds its market leader position in the luxury segment under threat from global arch-rival BMW.

Nissan does not wants to be left behind in the Indian market, and that is the reason,Nissan Motor India has revamped its X-Trail and Teana models. While the price range of the compact SUV (X-Trail) starts at Rs 20.81 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the Teana pricing begins at Rs 21.03 lakh. The X-Trail is designed to be driven around in the cityscape for a majority of its time and the occasional weekend getaways. Luxury sedan Teana combines refined, modern design with a smooth, powerful V6 engine. On the inside, Teana offers a finely crafted interior that is clean, modern yet luxurious”. With broad sections of high quality wood trim, easy to operate controls and leather trim, Teana delivers on the promise of comfort and relaxation. Teana is powered by a 2.3 litre VQ23DE petrol engine mated to a four speed automatic transmission.
